Do you want a Honda Civic Type R, but you don’t want to deal with the hassle of going to buy it from a dealer? Great news! Now you can buy it from some random guy off of the internet!
From the ad: “Up for sale is my 2017 Honda Civic Type-R. It is in the sought after Championship White. The chassis is #02520. Being a brand new vehicle, there is absolutely nothing wrong and is in need of nothing. Asking 45000 obo. Please respond via email only.
Currently has 40 miles on the odometer and will not be going up.”

Should that ad be flagged? I’m not sure how it’s brand new and also previously owned.

Good question. 40 miles isn’t really enough time to realize that you don’t like a car. Maybe they bought it for less than 45k and are trying to make a quick buck by capitalizing on demand

Because Honda really tapped into the cheap mod fanbase with this one.

I hope there’s an body kit aftermarket that blows up to make the styling cleaner and more subtle.

Alternatively, it’s for sale in Harrisburg PA so it’s possible that someone just made a fake ad in the hopes that you’ll show up with $45,000 in cash and they’ll rob you.

If I were to buy the car, I’ll replace fake vents with real vents and remove all fins and fake bottom lip aero bits.
Sawzall into the body and everything. That’s my real pet peeve.

Yeah I’d love a Type R. But I’d rather have one that’ll hold its value

A fair number of kits back in the day were actually. They just weren’t very popular. Probably because panel alignment and taking care of it would’ve been vital.

Being a brand new vehicle, there is absolutely nothing wrong and is in need of nothing.
Clearly, this person has never actually owned a brand new car before if he believes this is true.
